Good morning. I dd not get home until later last night and was too wiped out to post my running blog. Since my work was closed yesterday and I am playing volleyball again on Wednesday nights, I changed my running schedule a little. I went over the the YMCA at 7:00pm (after dinner) and ran before I played volleyball.
I am still having issues with pacing. I was supposed to run an "Easy" 4 miles which should be slower than my target marathon pace, but I ended up running at my target pace. The good thing is I was not winded at the end.
Another concern is that I am having a little pain in my knee. I am contributing it to stiffness due to the cold/wet weather, having run outside in the cold 4 of my last 5 runs and shovelling snow 3 times in less than 24 hours. Our driveway is about 100' long and 12' wide. That makes for a lot of snow when it is 4" deep , not once, but twice in that time.
Today is a Tempo run. I am planning on using the same run formula as Run #16 from Tuesday of this week.
